I have read all of the Bernard Cornwell novels since 1986 and have been a fan of the TV series since its beginning in 1993. I never cease to read and reread the novels and watch the series which I own on DVD; a sheer pleasure to sign the compendium and put my support and admiration.

I've always been a Sean Bean fan!! I first saw him portray Boromir in LOTR and Odysseus in Troy. He was by far my favorite actor in Troy. Loved him in the TV series Missing! I cam across the Sharpe Series 1 week ago as I was searching on IMDB. I've now watched every episode of the Sharpe series and love them all. I'm a huge period movie addict. He portrays Richard Sharpe absolutely perfect. If I could meet just one celebrity it would be Sean Bean!!

Just thought fellow Sharpe fans might wish to know that I have just placed for sale on ebay an original antique coloured print showing the storming of Badajos. The antique print was published in 1815 and as fans will know the famous battle featured in the Sharpe series. The auction reserve price is £25. Best wishes, James Gorringe

Many thanks for this site and the quality of the content. The Sharpe adventures and Sean Bean have been favourites of mine since the TV days. Special thanks to Bernard Cornwell for such an entertaining series.
